    ” Warhol faisait du Pop art,  pour ce troisième millénaire j’ai voulu faire du :
                                              Cyber POP
    J’utilise le passé comme une matière première permettant d’autres créations.
     Ultra Violet avait été l’icône du Pop Art
     Elle se transforme pour moi en icône du cyber POP.

    Je compresse les images, je les dessine, les modifie, leur fait subir un traitement,  j’utilise  en même temps le passé
    dans  le présent pour porter une réflexion et s’interroger sur le futur, j’intègre au sein d’un concept-art,  différents
     modules, diverses techniques  ou outils, différents arts ou  média, et  plusieurs moyens de diffusion, incluant des
    nouvelles technologies, afin de construire et créer l’histoire condensée que je désire vous raconter.
    Cette histoire que je présente  est une  synergie qui essaie d’utiliser un « nouveau » vocabulaire, une « nouvelle » façon
    de porter une réflexion avec de nouveaux champs. J’abolis les frontières sans me préoccuper de la réalité et de la
    fiction, du réel ou du virtuel, du possible ou de l’impossible, je propose un melting-pot artistique.
    Peu m’importe de maîtriser parfaitement ou non les techniques que j’utilise, s’il y a des imperfections, je les intègre
     comme particularités  à ma création,  les puristes hurlent, peu m’importe. Je désire seulement proposer
    une interrogation au public en  expérimentant  un nouveau langage, une synergie de méthodes et d’outils.
    Je crée un Cocktail  condensé  « made in Laurent »  sans me soucier s’il sera digeste ou non,  puis je le
    propose au public. Je joue aux apprentis sorciers.

    Cyber POP ?  aucun mot  ne pouvant définir mon travail hybride, je l’ai auto baptisé :

    CYBER POP POP POP, mélange de réel et virtuel, de passé,  présent et futur.

    Je laisse à chacun son libre arbitre, je place au sein d’une même histoire, autant de positif que de négatif, sans porter
    de jugement moraliste, idéologique…
    Après être plongé dans mon CYBER POP univers, le public est libre de   mener ou non sa propre réflexion et de
    s’interroger sur ce qu’il  a vu.

    Certains aiment : très bien, d’autres détestent et hurlent : c’est encore mieux.

    Warhol  was doing Pop Art, so for that third millenium,                
    I wanted to do :
                                         Cyber POP
     I use the past as raw material for new creations.
    Ultra Violet had been the icon of Pop Art   for me, she turns into a cyber POP icon.
    I compress images, I draw them, alter them, process them, I use the past and the present simultaneously  
    to carry  out a reflection and question the future. I integrate various units, various  techniques or tools, various arts
    or media and multi-media exhibitions, using new technologies,  into  an "art concept",   in order  to  build  and  create
    the condensed story that I  wish  to tell you.  This story I am presenting is a synergy, an attempt to use
    a "new" vocabulary,  a "new"  way of  carrying  out a reflection, with new fields. I am breaking the boundaries,  
    I don't  care   about reality or fiction, the real or the virtual, the possible or the impossible. I propose an artistic
    melting pot. I don't care whether I have a perfect grasp of the techniques I am using or not. If there are
    any shortcomings, I integrate them into my creation as my personal style. That makes  the purists scream,
    but it doesn't matter to me. My only wish is to propose a questioning to the public, by experimenting with
    a new language, with a synergy of methods and tools.
    I create a condensed, "made in Laurent" cocktail and I present it to the public,
    whether it is heavy going or not. I am playing God.
                                        Cyber POP ?
    No word could define my hybrid work, so I named it myself :
                                   CYBER POP POP POP
     a mixture of the real and the virtual, of past, present and future.
    I leave their own free will to everyone. I am placing as many positive as negative elements
    in one story, without any moral or ideological judgment.
    After they have been plunged into my CYBER POP world, the viewers are free  to conduct their own reflection or not,
    and to wonder about what they have  seen.
    Some  like  it :  fine  with  me. Others  hate  it and  scream : that's  even better.
