La chanteuse Anjani Thomas a séduit
les spectateurs lors de son nouveau
spectacle présenté en primeur à Montréal.
La surprise de la soirée (27 avril 2007)
furent les deux chansons en duo avec
Leonard Cohen. L'événement était
presqu'un concert privé tellement
l'ambiance était intime. Anjani était
accompagnée de son nouvel orchestre
de 4 musiciens avec qui elle entame la
présente tournée en Amérique
du nord et en Europe. Quiconque ne
connaît pas les chansons d'Anjani Thomas
a intérêt à les découvrir. Ses textes sont
écrits par Leonard Cohen mais la voix de
la chanteuse leur donne une vie en soi.

A highlight of the evening was two
songs in duet with her partner,
Leonard Cohen.
The event seemed like a private affair
as the environment was very intimate.
Anjani was accompanied by four musicians,
with whom she will tour in North America
and Europe this summer.
Whoever does not know the songs of Anjani
Thomas must seek them out. The lyrics
are written by Leonard Cohen but her voice
and music brings them to life .
